About the Course
This course provides required training in substance use disorders, focusing on the causes and development of these conditions. Trainees examine the physical, psychological, and social effects of alcohol and drug use on individuals, families, and communities.
The course also introduces foundational concepts in psychopharmacology, including how substances affect brain function and behavior, and supports a deeper understanding of addiction and recovery.
